Ginger Post에 실린(2013년 11월 15일) 시 [2H2 + O2 = 2H2O]    2013년 11월 15일, Ginger Post에 저의 시 [2H2 + O2 = 2H2O]가 올랐습니다. 이 시에 곁들인 결혼사진이 아주 이채롭습니다.   청탁받은 원고를 보낸 후, 혹시 마땅한 이미지가 있으면 달라고 하기에 없으니 알아서 하라고 했습니다. 그랬더니 편집자가 자신의 결혼사진을 곁들였다고 합니다. 결혼사진이 가장 적절할 것 같아서였답니다. 올려진 후에 보니 아주 적절하다는 생각을 했습니다. 특히 사진에 붙인 제목이 눈길을 끌었습니다. '1932, 물이 되다' 시의 의미와 아주 적절한 표현이라고, 시를 잘 파악한 제목이라고 생각되었습니다. 사실 이 시는 저의 딸이 결혼을 하게 되었을때, 딸을 위하여 그리고, 딸과 사위를 지켜보면서 쓴 선물 시입니다.    그 시가 올려진 후 아주 기분좋은 코멘트를 받았습니다. 그 사이트 자체에는 커멘트를 올리지 못하도록 되어있는데, 시를 올리자마자 Ginger Post에 보내 온 comment들이라고 합니다.   더 많은 사람들에게 읽히기를, 감동받거나 공감하는 독자들이 많아지기를 기대하는 저로선 기분 좋은 일입니다.^*^   ..............................  하와이 대학의 교수, "Kevin Kawamoto” "I like that poem very much, beautiful and yet not syrupy. Now residing in Toronto, she was a columnist for Seoul Newspaper and Kwanak Munhwa Newspaper. Cheonhak has published numerous books, including Dictionary of Korean Proverb and Quotation, and The Sky in Bronze Mirror (poems about the ancient Korean kingdom of Paekje), I am Still in an Apple Seed (poems about trees), Gaea Being Ill in Bed (poems about the environment), and Loneliness Virus. She has also been the recipient of many awards including the Modern Buddhism Literary Award (first prize), the Si wa Ŭisik Literature Award and the Kyung Hee University Overseas Korean Literary Award (Grand Prize).
